Choose to Be Happy
Finding peace in acceptance rather than endless problem-solving
There are people who live with far fewer worries than you and are likely happier and more content. Some of them even live in less comfortable conditions than you.
Two Ways of Living
Those who accept life as it is tend to be less compulsive and aren't as easily tempted. They're not likely to seek conflict or chase after unrealistic dreams because they are already at peace with themselves.
On the other hand, those who see life as a series of problems to be solved are often compulsive and easily drawn in by shortcuts and fantasies, thinking that happiness is always just around the corner.
The Problem-Seeking Mind
As long as they keep looking for problems, they'll always find them. Even if they have everything they've ever wanted, they'll still find something to worry about.
They never find peace.
The Choice
Choose to be that someone who's at peace by finding the beauty in what is.
A Simple Truth
Happiness isn't found in solving all your problems. It's found in accepting that life will always have problems—and choosing to be happy anyway.
